SKOLAR, part of Wolters Kluwer Health, is an Internet-based medical knowledge system that enables healthcare professionals to find answers to their clinical questions by rapidly searching multiple sources of high quality medical information. SKOLAR's flagship product, SKOLAR MD, was developed at Stanford University's School of Medicine and is the first program with physician-initiated in-context learning approved by the AMA for Category 1 CME credit.
SKOLAR MD is a knowledge service for medical professionals, combining the immediacy and reach of the Web, with the depth and commitment to quality of an academic medical center. By providing point-of-care responses to professionals' information needs, SKOLAR MD reintegrates doing and learning.
